PDF for Self Published eBooks

eBook Publisher | 02 January, 2005 17:08

There are dozens of ways to create your self published ebooks.

The most popular format by far is the Adobe Acrobat PDF.

But that doesn't mean you have to buy Adobe Acrobat at $500+ to get your manuscript into PDF format.

There are dozens of PDF software creators out on the market today. They all do a fine job at formatting and providing everything from link management, security, tables of contents and much more.

The tool we happen to really like and enjoy is the Fineprint PDF Factory Pro.

Fineprint offers you a free download option to try it as long as you want. The only "negative" about the free version is it prints their name on each page of your PDF. However, to learn how to use a quality PDF maker, there simply is no better option.

Once you get comfortable with it, you can purchase a license. You don't have to install any more software - you receive a license key and input that number into the software and it simply removes their printed banner.
