Getting PR For Your Self Published Work
eBook Publisher | 25 January, 2005 15:33
One of the simplest and frankly, easiest activities you can do to get some traffic to your ebook or print self published book is using the free Press Release distribution services on the Internet.....
There are many out there too.
Just use your favorite search engine and enter "free press release".
One that has recently come to our attention, and seemingly gaining steam is
PR Leap.
Using these services, of which the largest by far is PRweb, is easy and simple.
Writing a good press release however, takes practice.
Search for "writing press releases" and you'll find more than a million websites chocked full of free advice.
One thing you should pay particular note of using the free Internet PR services: make sure you use your keyword phrases at least 3 times, but not more than 7 times in your press release. This way, you will get good coverage in the PR service's own search engines.
Another major benefit of this strategy is that most of the free PR services now offer their content via RSS feeds. Independent webmasters are using those PR RSS feeds to populate content on a website, giving you further distribution reach.
Go for it!
