The users surveyed reported on a host of feature and function they like, don't like or would like to have. Not surprisingly, consumers want content how, when and in whatever format they desire.

Also, consumers who participated in the survey indicated "that people want to control electronic books in a way that was not feasible in the past". This is quite an insightful piece of information, indicating consumers want to take control from authors and publishers in the way their ebook functions and presents the content.
